Dr. Vaidyanathan R
Dr. Vaidyanathan R is a consultant anaesthesiologist and intensivist with 25 years of clinical experience in critical care, trauma and regional anaesthesia. He founded and has led the Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care & Pain at Cauvery Heart & Multi-Speciality Hospital since its inception and has been among the early adopters in the region of evidence-based, protocolised critical care practice. He leads the hospital's NABH-compliant intensive care unit and serves as Academic Head overseeing NBE postgraduate training, clinical audit, quality assurance and institutional critical-care policy.
Dr. Vaidyanathan has been an invited faculty member at numerous national and regional conferences, CME programmes and academic forums, with teaching and scientific contributions spanning critical care, toxicology, resuscitation and anaesthesia. He regularly conducts CMEs, workshops and hands-on academic programmes focused on airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, resuscitation science and mechanical ventilation, with particular emphasis on practical skills and bedside applicability.
